The AI ethics charter devised by elodees will be subject to regular revisions, depending on the contributions of the various consultations, and scientific, technological, social and environmental developments. Everyone can make a contribution to improving the charter.

Make AI contribute to the realization of a just and equitable society.

Work for the benefit of AI users, not against them.

Ensure that developed AI cannot be hijacked by people with malicious intentions.

Do not use Artificial Intelligence for fraudulent or manipulative purposes (political, religious, commercial, ...).

Ensure an AI without prejudice, regularly check the AI in order to identify the appearance of discriminating biases and thus ensure that any prejudice (gender, social and ethnic origin, sexual orientation, age, ...) is not propagated by the system.

Warn those who will interact with AI of its digital, non-human nature. For example, a chatbot must announce at the start of the conversation that it is not a human operator.

Warn users that AI cannot be responsible for any decision-making and that it is their responsibility to maintain a critical mind.

Ensure compliance with the GDPR and intellectual property, at all stages.

Respect user privacy and anonymize data.
