Young's slits designate an experiment which consists of causing two beams of light coming from the same source to interfere by passing them through two slits of a plane.
This experiment was carried out for the first time by Thomas Young in 1801 and made it possible to understand the behavior and nature of light.
We observe on a screen placed in front of Young's slits a diffraction pattern which is an area where dark and illuminated fringes alternate.
This experiment then makes it possible to highlight the wave nature of light.
It was also carried out with electrons, ... with which we also observe interference.
